How does the trial work?
Lumen NICU includes a 7-day free trial, no card required. You get full access to core tracking, milestones, journal, tips, and 10 messages with Nicky. After 7 days, a Lumen NICU Pro subscription ($7.99/month) keeps everything going and adds partner sharing, unlimited Nicky AI, real-time sync, and detailed insights.
What can I track in the NICU?
Lumen NICU includes 15+ built-in trackers designed around what NICU teams actually measure: feedings (volume, method, breast vs. fortified milk), weight, length, head circumference, vitals (heart rate, SpO₂, respiratory rate, temperature), sleep, diapers, medications, kangaroo / skin-to-skin care, apnea / bradycardia / desaturation (A/B/D) events, journal entries, appointments, and milestones.

Yes. Lumen NICU stores your data on your device first. We never sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising. What is Nicky, the NICU AI assistant?

What is corrected age and does Lumen NICU track it?
Corrected age (also called adjusted age) is your baby's age calculated from their original due date rather than their birth date. NICU care teams use corrected age to assess development and milestone timing for premature infants. Lumen NICU automatically calculates and displays your baby's corrected gestational age based on their due date.
Does Lumen NICU work without an internet connection?
Yes. Lumen NICU is designed for the NICU, where hospital Wi-Fi can be unreliable. All tracking works fully offline. Every entry is saved locally on your device first. When you're connected, Lumen NICU Pro automatically syncs your data across devices in real time.
Does Lumen NICU support multiple NICU stays or readmissions?
Yes. Lumen NICU supports multiple NICU stays for the same baby. If your baby is readmitted, you can open a new stay within the same profile and track data separately for each hospitalization, while your full history stays in one place.
