Delete Account & Data
You have full control over your Lumen NICU account and everything in it. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days and confirmed by email.
Your data belongs to you. Lumen NICU never sells your data or shares it with advertisers.
Your deletion options
Option A: PartialDelete Specific Data, Keep Your Account
Remove selected tracking records, photos, or other data without closing your account.
You can request deletion of:
- check_circleAll tracking records for a specific child (feeding, diaper, weight, sleep, vitals, medications, kangaroo care, ABD events, journals, milestones, appointments)
- check_circleAll photo memories for a specific child
- check_circleA specific child profile and all associated data
- check_circleNicky AI message count (resets your usage counter)
Preserved: Account, login credentials, and any other child profiles not requested for deletion.
Option B: FullDelete Account & All Data
Permanently close your Lumen NICU account and erase everything associated with it.
This removes:
- cancelAccount and login credentials
- cancelAll child profiles and tracking records
- cancelNicky AI message count (anonymized for internal metrics; no link to your identity is retained)
- cancelPartner access links and shared records you own
- cancelSubscription and billing relationship
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.Data cannot be recovered once deleted. If you're on a Pro or Family plan, we recommend exporting your records first via the app before requesting deletion.
How to request deletion
In the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside the app:
Profile → Account → Delete Account
This is instant, self-service, and requires no contact with support.
By Contact Form
- Submit a request via our contact form, then select Account Deletion as the category
- Include your account email address
- Specify Option A (with details of what to delete) or Option B (full account deletion)
- If requesting Option B: cancel your subscription first via Google Play or App Store. Account deletion does not automatically cancel billing
- You'll receive a confirmation within 2 business days; deletion completes within 30 days, with a final confirmation email

Local SQLite data is deleted when you uninstall the app. Cloud data follows the schedule above.
